Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder, founded in 1967 as the Seattle SuperSonics before relocating to Oklahoma City in 2008, have had a fascinating journey marked by highs and lows. In their early years, the SuperSonics enjoyed success, including capturing an NBA championship in 1979. After moving to Oklahoma City, the franchise underwent a transformation, highlighted by the arrival of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden. This young core propelled the Thunder to prominence, reaching the NBA Finals in 2012. The Thunder have a talented roster with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey.
